Kathiani MP Robert Mbui has called on President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua to respect Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and work for the sake of unity and development in the country.

Speaking at Ikoleni Secondary School on Monday, Mbui said President Ruto’s work includes uniting Kenyans to speak with one voice.

The Kathiani MP said it was demeaning and derogatory for President Ruto to take the stage in Nyanza and start talking about Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

In his sentiments, President Ruto said that in 2027 he will be with Kalonzo in the race and wondered if he would really make it.

According to Mbui, this was demeaning to Musyoka.

Mbui added that after the Malili prayer meeting, Kalonzo gave himself the name David and come 2027, he will bring down the ‘Goliath’.

On DP Gachagua, Mbui said there have been instances where he has been calling Kalonzo Musyoka names at his various meetings in Ukambani.

He insisted that such name-calling was derogatory to the Wiper leader and the Kamba nation at large.
