The prime suspect in the murder of Nairobi Hospital Acting Finance Director Eric Maigo will remain in custody as the investigation continues.
The suspect, Anne Adhiambo, was arraigned on Wednesday, with the prosecution requesting that the suspects be held until the investigation is completed.
The court heard that CCTV footage and blood stains from the murder scene, both of which are important in the case, have yet to be analyzed.
There is also the issue of the suspect’s age, which the court says is being investigated.
The case will be mentioned on October 25.
The state had told the magistrate that the suspect was over the age of 18 and dismissed allegations that she had been held in an inhumane condition.

The suspect has been in custody since her arrest, with the court granting orders for her 21-day detention on the 27th of September pending conclusion of investigations.
Adhiambo was captured on CCTV escaping from the scene of Maigo’s murder on the morning of 15th of October at Jamhuri area of Nairobi.
She was arrested at Olympic in Kibra after efforts by detectives were backed by members of the public who provided intelligence on her whereabouts.
Adhiambo stands accused of being behind the gruesome murder of Maigo, whose lifeless body was found in his house bearing 25 stab wounds.
