The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its portal for applications to the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September intake. The application deadline is June 21, 2024.

This application period is aimed at qualified Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) holders from 2014 to 2023 who wish to enroll in KMTC programs, including those who previously applied but were unsuccessful.

To apply, candidates must access the student portal via the link students.kuccps.net or through the KUCCPS website at www.kuccps.ac.ke. Applicants should click the “Login” tab and enter their KCSE Index Number, KCSE year, and password.

The password is either the applicant’s Birth Certificate Number or KCPE Index Number. Once logged in, students should click “KMTC Programmes” to view the available courses and their minimum requirements.

Applicants can only apply for courses where they meet the minimum requirements. KUCCPS recommends downloading the PDF document detailing the available programs for easy reference. After deciding on preferred courses, applicants must enter the Programme Codes, which should be arranged in order of priority from the most preferred course (No. 1) to the least preferred course (No. 4).

Upon entering the programme codes, applicants should allow the system to fetch all the programme details before clicking submit. After submission, the applicant must pay a fee of Sh1,500, and the portal will provide payment instructions.
