The body of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has been recovered intact from the site of an Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburbs, according to both a medical source and a security source speaking to Reuters on Sunday. Hezbollah had confirmed Nasrallah’s death in a statement on Saturday but did not specify how or when the incident occurred. The two sources revealed that while Nasrallah’s body had no visible wounds, the cause of death appeared to be blunt trauma resulting from the force of the blast. Details regarding the timing of his funeral remain undisclosed.
