The number of protest-related deaths in Migori has reached 12 after a civilian was shot dead.

One person was fatally shot in Rongo, Migori County on Tuesday, raising the official death toll from anti-government demonstrations in the region to 12.

Medical staff from Rongo Sub County, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed to Citizen Digital that the individual died from excessive bleeding after being shot in the neck.
