The third edition of the Nairobi Fight Night is set to take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Alchemist in Nairobi. Event organizer Willy Wex described the event as electrifying, featuring five fighting categories: flyweight, cruiserweight, middleweight, and lightweight.

“This is our third edition of the Nairobi Fight Night. We started in August with the first edition, then followed up with the second in September. In August, we had three fight cards, September saw four fight cards, and for this third edition, we will have five fight cards,” Wex explained. He also highlighted the platform’s role in inspiring young fighters and helping them transition into professional boxing.

The highlight of the night will be the lightweight match between Samuel Njomo and Raphael Mutua. Njomo’s coach, David Kilu, expressed confidence in his fighter’s readiness. “Njomo has prepared well and is ready to face Mutua. He won his last match and is hungry for another victory,” Kilu stated.

Mutua, on his part, also voiced his confidence ahead of the bout. “I’ve been preparing for almost a month, and my aim is to win,” Mutua declared.
