Popular YouTuber and entrepreneur Robert Ndegwa Kamau, popularly known as Thee Pluto, has marked a new chapter in his personal life after tying the knot in a traditional ceremony, months after his highly publicised breakup with his baby mama, Felicity Shiru.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, Thee Pluto shared a video of his traditional wedding with a heartfelt caption reflecting on the significance of the ceremony.
In the caption, he emphasised that love was not rushed but honoured through culture, faith, and tradition.
He also described the event as more than just a cultural rite, calling it a sacred agreement sealed by tradition and witnessed by heaven.
“Love was not rushed; it was honored. Before two hearts could become one, families gathered, elders spoke wisdom, and tradition took its rightful place. Rũracio is more than a ceremony; it is a sacred agreement, witnessed by heaven and sealed by culture,” he said.

According to the content creator, the ceremony brought families together as elders offered wisdom, underscoring the importance of patience, respect, and purpose in marriage.
Thee Pluto noted that the union symbolised not only the coming together of two individuals but also the merging of histories, prayers, and generations.
“In humility, we came before our people. In love, we gave and received. In faith, we stepped into a covenant greater than us; one rooted in respect, patience and purpose,” he added.
The father of two further highlighted how the occasion represented a balance between tradition and modern love, where culture met faith and romance found a solid foundation.

“This was not just the union of two souls, but the merging of histories, prayers, and generations. May the same God who watched over our ancestors bless this journey, guide our steps, and keep love at the centre of it all. I honoured my ancestors, and they honoured me back,” Thee Pluto stated.
“Tradition met romance, culture met faith, and love found its rightful foundation.”

Breakup with Felicity
The ceremony comes days after he opened up about the emotional and professional transformation he experienced following his high-profile breakup with Felicity.
Speaking during an interview with Dr Ofweneke on Wednesday night, July 23, 2025, Thee Pluto acknowledged that their relationship played out under intense public scrutiny, making the split messy and deeply personal.
He admitted taking responsibility for his role in the fallout and emphasised the importance of privacy moving forward.
“My marriage was public, and I agree the breakup was messy for me. I take responsibility for my part that unfolded in ways that I could not imagine. After that, I took time to heal and learn, and I have taken time to also evolve and become a better man,” Thee Pluto said.
He went on to say that the breakup taught him to shield his values and relationships from public scrutiny, creating a healthier balance between his private life and public persona.
“The breakup taught me more than success has. A lot of things you have to keep private. I have learnt to separate myself from whatever I have or the values I hold, from whatever is in the public and how the public looks at me,” he added.

Despite the heartbreak, Pluto maintained that his faith in marriage and relationships remains intact.
“My breakup has not changed the perception I have of marriage and relationships. Sometimes love does not fail it teaches us,” he said, marking a mature outlook on love and personal growth.
Pluto was in a high-end relationship with Felicity for nearly three years, but it was not until September 2024 that they decided to part ways.
“We have decided to go our separate ways and end our three-year relationship. Thank you for the continued support from family, friends, and fans. Let’s not speculate anything or spread lies about the situation. We will co-parent peacefully to ensure the life of our lovely daughter is not affected. Give us some space during this hard time,” he wrote.
