Police in Vihiga County have detained three suspects connected to a series of criminal activities in Hamisi. County police commander Peter Katam reported that these individuals have been instilling fear among local residents. Officers from Gambogi apprehended the suspects, seizing crude weapons and three motorbikes during the operation.

The suspects are thought to be part of a gang that has been ambushing locals, often resulting in serious injuries. Katam highlighted that the gang operates primarily at night and has advised bodaboda riders to exercise caution regarding their passengers during late hours.
