Three children aged between seven and eight years old are receiving treatment at a hospital in Kyuso, Kitui County after being knocked down by a police car on Sunday.

The accident occurred in the Kamuwongo area as the police were driving from Kakunike to Kyuso.

The area assistant chief David Mwendwa told Citizen Digital that the children were going home after attending a church service.

Police drove the children to the hospital in their car.
