Police in Ugenya, Siaya County are holding three suspected drug traffickers after they were arrested along the Kisumu-Busia highway.

The suspects Wycliffe Owino aged 24 years, Caleb Onyango (30) and Faith Akinyi (24) were arrested after they were found in possession of five litres of chang’aa and three packed sacks which were suspected to be bhang.

According to Siaya County Police Commander Mr. Cleti Kimaiyo, the suspects were arrested following a joint operation that was conducted by officers from Bumala and Sega police stations.
