TikToker Young Boy Sido wants to open church, confirms speaking in tongues

Content creator and TikToker Young Boy Sido has revealed his plans to establish a church in the country, sharing his religious past and gifts of the Holy Spirit, which he claimed to possess.

In a video posted on his official Instagram account on Sunday, January 25, 2026, Sido explained his journey in religion back from high school, revealing that he is also gifted in speaking in tongues.

He recounted that he was a member of his school’s Christian Union (C.U) and would speak in tongues, leaving teachers surprised.

The content creator added that despite recent changes in his life,he still speaks in tongues, claiming that he possesses the gift.

He stated that speaking in tongues is a language just like French and is reserved for those with the gift, as not everyone can speak in tongues.

Sido shared his plans to open a church, confirming that he is actively considering pursuing that path after internet fame.

“Nataka kufungua church kwanza (I want to open a church as a matter of fact),” Sido stated.

Sido’s rise to fame

The content creator rose to fame after his signature catchphrases “Baradhuli and Ni Mbaya” captivated audiences online.

His newfound fame opened the doors to media interviews in which he opened up on various aspects of his life, including his motivation and role models.

Sido revealed in a radio interview on December 29, 2025, that his motivation comes largely from Kenyan artists rather than international stars.
