Arsenal transfer battle

Tottenham could be joined by north London rivals Arsenal in the race to sign Torino centre-back Perr Schuurs in the coming weeks.

Spurs striker Richarliosn has been criticised for his performance in the 2-0 win over Manchester United by Chris Waddles.

The Brazilian endured a difficult first 45 minute on Saturday but did show glimpses of his talent as the content went on. However, speaking to BBC Sport, the former Tottenham winger said: “Rashford started a bit poorly in the first 10 minutes but he is really coming into the game now.

On the other end of the pitch, the white shirt leading the line for Tottenham hasn’t done much. Really disappointed with Richarlison so far,” he told BBC Sport.
