Thika Road is currently facing significant traffic congestion near the General Service Unit (GSU) headquarters due to two separate accidents involving multiple vehicles.

In the first incident, a matatu collided with a saloon car, while the second crash involved two private saloon cars. Compounding the situation, the ongoing 46th United States International University (USIU) graduation ceremony is also contributing to the heavy traffic.

Authorities are on-site working to clear the road, but traffic remains congested in both directions towards Nairobi and Thika. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and exercise caution while navigating the area.
