Chelsea defender, Marc Cucurella, is unwilling to leave Stamford Bridge as he wants to impress new head coach Mauricio Pochettino, Evening Standard reports.
Cucurella joined Chelsea a year ago and has made 33 appearances for the west London club.
The Spaniard, however, has not been very reliable for the Blues.
Given Pochettino’s reputation for growing young players, the Argentine might look to use the likes of Lewis Hall in place of Cucurella.
Cucurella could suffer from a lack of game time at Chelsea, but according to the report, the 24-year-old is reportedly willing to take up the challenge and wants to fight for his place in Pochettino’s team.
Chelsea are keen to sell more players this summer transfer window in a bid to trim their bloated squad and raise funds for Pochettino’s top targets.
