Transfer: Fago Lawal seals move to Czech club Viktoria Plzen

Czech First Division club FC Viktoria Plzen have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Salim Fago Lawal, DAILY POST reports.

Lawal linked up with the West Bohemian club from Croatian outfit NK Istra.

The Nigeria international penned a three-and-a-half-year contract with Plzen.

The 23-year-old netted 15 goals, and registered two assists during his time at Istra.

Viktoria Plzen and NK Istra decided not to disclose the transfer fee and other details of the transfer.

He will jersey number 70 at his new club.

Lawal was part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
