Barcelona president, Joan Laporta has confirmed that the club has agreed a deal with Athletico Paranaense to sign Vitor Roque.

Roque will however join the LaLiga champions in 2024.

Laporta said: “Vitor Roque deal is done and sealed. He’s a Barça player.

“Deal is expected for 2024, then if we can anticipate, it depends on FFP — we expect many goals from Vitor.

“He has his own style, so he can’t be compared to Ronaldo or Romario.”

The fee for the 18-year-old is believed to be close to a €60m total potential package, add ons included.
