Neymar Jr will not make an emotional return to Barcelona, according to a statement from his camp.

The Brazilian who currently plays for Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia is out injured.

He has been linked with a move back to Barca, amid claims he is not enjoying playing in the Middle East.

However, in a statement on Monday, his representatives insisted he is looking forward to playing for Al Hilal again.

It read: “The articles on Ney’s return to Barça from Al Hilal are LIES and tremendous disrespect for Al Hilal and the athlete.

“Neymar is under contract with Al Hilal and he’s happy in Riyadh. Soon he returns to the pitch to delight the fans.”
