Atletico Madrid have stripped Joao Felix of his No.7 shirt following his loan spell at Chelsea.

Felix wore the shirt before he moved to Stamford Bridge in January 2023.

However, the number has now been allocated to Antoine Griezmann, ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

Felix arrived at Atletico from Benfica in a £113million deal in 2019, but has struggled to make an impact in La Liga.

His relationship with manager, Diego Simeone, has also deteriorated.

Chelsea spent £16m to take Felix on loan for the second half of last season, but chose not to keep the 23-year-old on a permanent basis.
