Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, has already signed a contract with Real Madrid and will become their highest earner, Marca reports.

Mbappe has already informed the French club that he would not be signing a one-year extension.

This means the 25-year-old will become a free agent at the end of this season.

It is now understood that Mbappe has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Madrid until 2029.

Mbappe has accepted a lower salary compared to what he is currently earning with PSG, as Real President Florentino Perez felt his arrival could not break up the wage structure in the squad.

While Mbappe will still be the highest earner at the LaLiga giants, his salary will be around a third of his current £62 million-a-year gross salary.

Real Madrid will also pay the player a signing-on fee below £40 million.

In exchange, Los Blancos have compromised on image rights, with Mbappe set to earn around 60 per cent of them, which should offset his reduced salary and signing-on fee.
