Transfer: Napoli line up Boniface, Akor as Osimhen’s replacement

Serie A champions, Napoli have earmarked Victor Boniface and Jerome Akor among their options in the event of Victor Osimhen’s exit from the club.

Osimhen has yet to agree an extension to his contract with the Serie A champions.

The Nigerian striker will have one-year remaining on his contract by next summer.

According to 90 Minutes, Napoli have lined up direct replacements for Osimhen and they include Akor and Boniface.

Boniface has impressed for Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen this season.

The 22-year-old has scored seven times in 12 league outings for Die Werkself.

Akor has netted seven goals for Montpellier in the French Ligue 1 since his arrival from Norwegian club Lillestrom.
