Alvaro Morata’s exit from Galatasaray is being delayed by the club’s bid to sign Victor Osimhen on a permanent basis.

Como have all but agreed a deal for Morata to leave the Turkish champions.

But the Spaniard will not be allowed to leave the Istanbul club, until they are able to bring in a striker.

Galatasaray are waiting to wrap up the transfer of Osimhen from Napoli, before allowing the Spaniard depart.

This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Tuesday night.

Romano tweeted: “Álvaro Morata will become new Como player from AC Milan… as soon as Victor Osimhen re-joins Galatasaray.

“The condition for Gala to break Morata loan deal and send him back to Italy is new striker to join.

“And Osimhen’s currently one step away from Gala return.”
