Ajax goalkeeper, Tommy Setford is set for a shock transfer move to Arsenal.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners have submitted the first proposal to Ajax for the 18-year-old.

Romano added that Setford is also keen to join the Premier League North London club.

“Arsenal submit first proposal to Ajax for 18 year old goalkeeper Tommy Setford.

“Negotiations ongoing, Ajax sources see Setford as big talent but current deal expires in June 2025.

“England U20 GK keen on the move,” Romano tweeted on Thursday.
