Arsenal legend, Ray Parlour, has claimed that his former teammate, Thierry Henry, could help lure Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes.

It is believed Real Madrid are in the driving seat to sign the 24-year-old.

But Parlour believes that the French connection between Henry and Mbappe could help the Gunners win the race.

“I’m sure Thierry [Henry] could play a role if there was genuine interest from both Arsenal and Mbappe.

“We all know that rumours can be a bit silly, but how exciting would that be if Arsenal could bring a player like Mbappe?

“We love the rumours and the gossip – it’s a big part of football. That is the kind of rumour that as an Arsenal fan, you want to be hearing,” Parlour said on JBI Training.
