Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to claims that the club has agreed a deal to sign Otavio from FC Porto.

The Saudi Pro League club brought in Cristiano Ronaldo on a free transfer in December.

Ronaldo has remained the highest paid sportman in history after the move, earning €200 million a year.

The SPL giants recently announced the arrival of Portuguese tactician Luis Castro as their new manager.

They have brought Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan for €18 million.

Reports in Europe recently claimed that Al-Aalami are finalising the move to sign Otavio, 28, from Porto.

Portugal sports outfit A Bola reported that Ronaldo had directly called the player to tell him to join Al Nassr

However, Ronaldo has quashed rumours that Otavio is set to join him at Mrsool Park.

“It’s totally a lie,” Cristiano Ronaldo told reporters, according to Portuguese outlet Desporto Ao Minuto. “You break the news as bait.

“There’s nothing finalised. They have already said that 10 or 15 players were coming to Al-Nassr, but nothing was seen.

“We know we’re going to strengthen, but we don’t have any specific players.”
