Transfer: VFB Stuttgart reignite interest in Akpom

Bundesliga side, VFB Stuttgart have reignited thier interest in Chuba Akpom, DAILY POST reports.

According to Bild via Voetbal Primeur, Stuttgart are targeting the Nigerian-born striker as replacement for Serhou Guirassy.

Guirassy, a Guinean, joined another Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund last month.

Stuttgart have reportedly held talks with Akpom’s representatives.

Ajax are ready to sell Akpom and the Dutch giants are also said to be in need of more funds to bring in new players.

Akpom is also keen to leave Ajax in search of regular playing time.
