Treasury Announces 426 Jobs With Up to Ksh100,000 Salary; How to Apply

The National Treasury and Economic Planning, on Tuesday, June 13, called upon jobseekers to apply for 426 vacant positions in the ministry.

Among the advertised positions were Principal Debt Settlement Officers (7), Principal Resource Mobilisation Officers (13), Principal Debt Management Officers (8), Principal Assets Management Officers (4), and Principal Internal Auditor (204).

Others were Senior Internal Auditors (96), Principal Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations Officers (7), Senior Economic Policy Analysts (12), Principal Finance Officers (22), Finance Officers (41), and Principal Pensions Assistants (12).

The jobs were in different job grades, with some fetching up to Ksh100,000 inclusive of allowances.

Those in job grade 8 will receive Ksh87,360 per month, a house allowance of Ksh35,000, and a commuter allowance of Ksh8,000.

Meanwhile, job grade 9 applicants will get a Ksh59,120 salary, a house allowance of Ksh28,000, and a commuter allowance of Ksh6,000 monthly.

How to Apply

All interested candidates were requested to visit the official website www.treasury.go.ke to view the requirements.

On the website, hover over the Resource Centre tab and select the Vacancies tab to apply for your preferred position.

“Only shortlisted and successful candidates will be contacted. They shall be required to produce original of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates and transcripts during interviews,” read part of the advert.

The application should be made on form PSC 2 (revised 2016) to the Principal Secretary of National Treasury P.O. Box 30007-00100, Nairobi.

Candidates were warned against submitting fake documents.

In line with Constituton’s Chapter 232 (1) on fair competition and representation of diverse communities, Treasury urged people with disabilities, those marginalised, and minorities to apply.

Additionally, all public officers must produce the original appointment letter to their current substantive post during the interview.

All submissions should be made before June 30, 2023, latest 5 pm.
