Social media personality and businesswoman Triza Mamake Muraya has opened up about co-parenting with Kikuyu gospel singer and philanthropist Karangu Muraya following the end of their marriage.
In a heartfelt message shared on her official Facebook account on Thursday, March 19, 2026, Triza said that their marriage may have failed, but they are currently co-parenting their three children peacefully.
“Good morning, things may have fallen apart, marriage may have failed, but I thank God this morning because, as per now, we are doing a peaceful co-parenting of our 3 kids with Karangu Muraya, the father of my children,” Triza said.
She acknowledged the difficulties of their past relationship but emphasised the importance of putting their children first.
“We may have failed as a couple but we have made peace and agreed not to fail as parents to our 3 kids. The past is gone, we no longer dwell in it, we focus on our future and the future of our kids,” she added.
Additionally, the mother of three also credited people who contributed to the peaceful co-parenting.
“Thank you Damaris Wa Dama Spares Original & Apostle Teresiah Njenga for making this happen ndikamuconoora,” Triza noted.
Triza’s statement highlights a growing conversation around co-parenting after separation, showing that even when relationships end, parents can work together for the well-being of their children.

Triza and Muraya’s drama
For the better part of 2025, Karangu and his first wife, Triza Njeri, were embroiled in a public marital dispute involving Karangu’s second wife, Carol Kim.
On the night of February 14, 2025, TikTok users were treated to drama after Triza went live alongside her friend Essy, publicly accusing Karangu of neglect and expressing frustration over his relationship with his second wife, Carol Kim.
Triza, during the live session, asserted that Karangu had been ignoring her and giving more importance to his second wife. But following a contentious back and forth, Karangu apologised, expressed deep regret and pleaded with Triza to return to their matrimonial home for the sake of their family.
However, what was meant to be an online exposé calling out Karangu for neglecting his first wife quickly spiralled into endless drama. Since that February night, things have not been the same.
Failed marriage
The couple had been married for over 13 years before they ended things and have three children together.
In February 2025, they were embroiled in a public marital dispute involving Karangu’s second wife, Carol Kim.
During a live TikTok session, Karangu expressed deep regret and pleaded with Triza to return to their matrimonial home for the sake of their family.
