A fuel tanker transporting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) on Friday morning overturned along the Londiani-Muhoroni Road at Lesirwo area, Kericho County, causing a gas leak on the busy road.

The vehicle’s driver, Michael Mwangi, reportedly lost control of the truck, a Mercedes Benz Reg No. KCP 588R/ZH2580, before it overturned.

Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries were reported in the incident.

In response to the situation, police swiftly reached out to the Kericho Fire Brigade to contain the potentially hazardous situation after Mwangi reported the incident.
