The plot twists and turn in the race for the FKF Premier League title continues after Gor Mahia beat Ulinzi Stars 2-0 to reclaim top spot as Tusker FC lost 2-1 away to Wazito in Muhoroni.

K’Ogalo started their match all guns blazing, putting the soldiers to the sword with strikes from John Macharia and Austin Odhiambo within nine minutes of the first half.

Over at ‘Got Alila’ in Muhoroni, Robert Matano’s side were given a taste of what it feels like to play at the Muhoroni Stadium when they fell behind in the first half courtesy of a goal by Collins Neto.

The brewers did well to haul themselves back in the game thanks to defender Charles Momanyi’s equaliser in the second half.

However, with three minutes to the end of the game, Neto got on the scoresheet again as he converted a penalty to grant Wazito all three points.

Over at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, news of Tusker’s misfortunes was sweet music to the ears of K’Ogalo faithful who shouted themselves hoarse to urge their team forward.

With the two results, Gor lead the log with 67 points, two ahead of Tusker in second place.

In other matches of the day, bottom-placed side Vihiga Bullets shocked AFC Leopards 2-1 as Mathare United’s relegation woes compounded with a 1-0 loss to Kakamega Homeboyz.

Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) were 1-0 winners over Bidco FC whereas Elvis Rupia continued his hunt for the golden boot when he scored twice to help Kenya Police clobber Posta Rangers 3-1.
