Ugandan police have arrested two men for crashing into the convoy of the Deputy Inspector General of Government (DIGG) Anne Muhairwe.

According to local police, the incident occurred in Mulungo, along the Munyonyo-Entebbe Expressway in the capital Kampala. Muhairwe’s principal car was damaged.

An alcohol test confirmed the two suspects were intoxicated.

The Ugandan station NTV reports that police also found narcotics and bottles of alcohol in their vehicle.
