Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro is back in training, ahead of this week’s make-or-mar Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

Casemiro picked up an ankle injury while on international duty with Brazil in October.

However, United have confirmed that the midfielder has resumed training, although he worked alone as his teammates took part in a recovery session following a 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday.

Casemiro could now be available to play against Bayern on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old scored twice against the Bundesliga champions on matchday one in the Champions League, but couldn’t prevent United from losing 4-3.

The Red Devils must beat Bayern and hope that Copenhagen and Galatasaray play out a draw in Denmark if they are to progress to the last-16.
