A Form Four student has been killed while nine houses have been burned down and livestock stolen in Musunji village, in Cheptulu, Vihiga County in a suspected love triangle.

According to reports, the boy was killed by his colleagues after a disagreement over a girl from the village.

In retaliation, the residents of the village attacked the suspect’s home, torched it, and then cut down plants on their farm.

According to Hamisi Ruth Langat, the local police commander, two suspects were apprehended as a result of the raid.
