Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has insisted that the Red Devils must address all the problems within the club.

Amorim made this remark in response to Manchester United’s announcement on Monday regarding further job cuts.

The Premier League club confirmed the redundancies as part of a restructuring effort aimed at transforming its corporate structure and implementing additional measures to improve financial sustainability.

In a statement, United indicated that approximately 150–200 jobs could be made redundant, subject to a consultation process with employees.

Speaking about the development ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Ipswich Town on Wednesday, Amorim said at his pre-match press conference, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “We have to address all the problems in the club. One important aspect is understanding how we got into this situation.

“It has a lot to do with the lack of success of the team. We are the engine of the club. I want to improve the team and achieve success.”

Manchester United last won a Premier League title in 2012 under Sir Alex Ferguson.

This season, they are struggling and currently sit in 15th place in the Premier League table.
