Azimio leader Raila Odinga now says that they will take President William Ruto to the Hague.

Raila said they had planned on holding peaceful protests in the city but Ruto ordered the police to hurl teargas at them.

“We said today was a holiday and we wanted to hold peaceful demonstrations for the price of Unga to come down. Mr Ruto brought the police to arrest our people, breaking the law. We will take him to the International Criminal Court,” he said.

The former Prime Minister added that today is just the beginning and next week they take to the streets again.

He insists the head of state broke the law by having their protesting allies arrested.
