A private exchange between Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo and a woman named Susan on X, formerly Twitter, has gone viral after the conversation took on an unsettling significance following his death.‎

The chats, which date back to May 2025, show Susan telling Chivayo: “Your days are numbered.” At the time, the message read as a sharp rebuke from an ordinary citizen.

After Chivayo died in a helicopter crash on September 30, 2025, those same words struck many online as eerily prophetic.

What the Conversation Showed

The exchange began as a confrontation over politics and money. Susan was blunt in her criticism, saying: “Not everyone wants your money, that’s what you should know.”

She also pushed back against his apparent assumption that she was seeking his attention or gifts, adding that she was not among those who, in her words, twerk for his cars.

Chivayo’s responses were dismissive, and he told her not to initiate contact with him and replied insolently in what appeared to be Shona. He then blocked her, and a system message confirmed she could no longer send him direct messages.

The chats occurred just days after the woman had predicted that Chivayo would die in a chopper crash.

The Crash That Changed Everything

On the evening of September 30, 2025, a private helicopter carrying six occupants crashed in Marondera rural, Zimbabwe. Family spokesperson Herbert Chivayo confirmed that the businessman and his wife, Lucy Muteke, were among those who died in the accident. He told ZBC News that the family was at a loss for words.

Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi also confirmed the crash and stated that the helicopter had six occupants on board at the time.

‎When Susan’s months-old exchange with Chivayo resurfaced following the news of his death, it spread rapidly across social media platforms, with many users struck by the timing of her words relative to how his life ended.
