President William Ruto is set to join congregants for prayers at Kahawa West, Roysambu Constituency.President William Ruto has a taste for expensive designer items, and this time, it was a matted crocodile leather belt from Italian designer Stefano Ricci.

President Ruto was addressing congregants during a church service at Priesthood Fellowship church when keen netizens noticed the belt Although the head of state wore an otherwise ordinary outfit, the black leather belt with a unique gold buckle and entwined SR logo motif stood out.

President William Ruto attended a church service in Kahawa West on Sunday, November 26 in a crisp suit, stepping away from his well-tailored Kaunda suits that have become his signature outfits.

The head of state wore a sky-blue shirt, a blue jacket, beige trousers and black leather shoes. The fit was decent and matched the occasion. However, hawk-eyed netizens noticed one unique piece in his attire in a video where the president was addressing congregants.

The president wore a black Stefano Ricci belt worth $2800, which translates to KSh 425,152, according to the current conversion rates. According to the official Stefano Ricci website, the 38-mm belt is a matted crocodile leather belt handmade in Italy.

It features matted crocodile leather, a calfskin leather lining, a signature entwined logo (SR) within a distinct galvanised gold buckle, and an anchor snap-on buckle.
