A woman accused of causing mayhem at an apartment in Nairobi’s Dagoretti area was on Sunday arrested and locked up at Muthangari Police Station.

According to a report by NTV, police captured the woman, only identified as Njeri, after her neighbours at Legacy Apartments along Naivasha Road filed a complaint against her.

Videos of the woman quarrelling at the residence have been shared widely online, where in one, she is seen confronting and hurling insults at an armed security officer and a police officer in the parking lot of the apartment building.

She then confronts the person recording the video and even threatens to take away his phone.

In another video, she is at her doorstep confronting what appears to be a member of the apartment’s management over alleged faulty CCTV cameras.

She threatens to beat the man and further claims she has a gun and will shoot him dead.

The NTV report quoted the Nairobi County police boss Adamson Bungei as saying that the matter was being investigated by the police.
