A middle-aged woman is receiving treatment at the Makindu Hospital, where she was rushed after an attack by an Elephant.
The attack, reports indicate, happened in the Ngiluni area of Mtito Andei ward on Saturday.
The attack comes just hours after a 65-year-old man who was killed by an elephant at Ngomano Athii–a nearby village, was laid to rest.
Local leaders led by Mtito Andei Ward MCA Francis Mulwa have accused KWS of failing to protect those neighboring Tsavo West and East parks, sending farmers into losses and grief.
