Spain head coach, Luis de la Fuente, has said goodbye to Brahim Diaz, who has decided to dump the Spain national team for Morocco.

NEWSUNPLUGKE reported that Diaz, a former Spain U21 star, has decided to dump his country of birth in order to represent Morocco at the senior level.

The Real Madrid attacking midfielder will now play for the African country instead of his country of birth.

Brahim was born in Spain to a Spanish mother and a Moroccan father, making him eligible to play for Morocco

“I have not spoken with Brahim. I call or I do not call and people then do what they have to do,” Fuente told reporters who asked for his reaction to the player’s decision.

“I have probably been the coach who has selected him the most. I wish him the best. Everyone is free to make the decisions they make”.
