Ugandan socialite, entrepreneur, and reality TV star Zarinah Hassan, alias Zari the Boss Lady, has revealed why her husband, Shakib Cham Lutaaya, gets so much attention from women.
In an undated viral video circulating online, the couple appear to be in an interview, with Zari complimenting Shakib’s appearance and telling him that he is her last husband.
“You are going to be my last husband. You are handsome, and women want to share this with me,” Zari said.
As the interview progresses, the couple are seen exchanging words, with Zari asking Shakib if he is aware that women are attracted to him.
“Do women vibe you?” Zari asked.
“I know,” Shakib answered.
“Yeah, women love you because of me… they are always wondering what I saw in you,” she said.
“Not all of them,” he said.
“Nah, stop lying, and you are lying on camera,” she added.
“Listen! There are those who look at Shakib and they are like this guy is unique,” Shakib stated.
“Women even try to get your attention in clubs in my presence,” Zari revealed.
“I never see them,”Shakib replied.
” and I’m like, if they are doing this in my presence, how about when I’m not around! Men vibe me because I’m beautiful, intelligent, hard-working, and a good mother. Men see those things and vibe,” she added.
The reality TV star went on to tell her husband that women are attracted to him because of her.
“Do you know women love you because of me? Do you know that?” Zari asked.
Facing criticism
In a statement posted on his official Instagram account on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the professional boxer opened up on the challenges he has faced in his married life, stating that after officiating his marriage to Zari, he has faced a lot of criticism.
It is remembered that Zari is a few years older than Shakib, and most of the criticism he faced was based on the age difference.
“Personally, I’ve faced a lot of criticism before the show, especially after becoming Zari’s husband,” he revealed.
Marriage drama
In August 2024, the internet was on fire following the online outburst between Shakib and Zari, which was fuelled by Zari’s ex-husband Diamond Platinumz’s visit to her residence in South Africa.
Shakib, who seemed unhappy with his wife’s close relationship with Diamond, went online to lament how he was left out of the loop about the singer’s visit and Zari disrespecting him.
In response to Shakib’s outburst, the mother of five took to her social media to address the issue, claiming his reaction is rooted in unwarranted insecurity, adding that her ex’s surprise visit was solely for their daughter as she celebrated her special day.
“Let me tell you something, if I want to get back to Diamond, I can be back. If Diamond wants to get back to me, he can be back. But we are so over each other. I don’t want him, he doesn’t want me; I have a husband, he has a girlfriend.
“Me, Zari the boss lady. I am a millionaire, and I am intelligent. I can be with whoever I want, but I chose my husband, and I don’t care how you guys see him, ‘Oh, he is broke; he is not good enough.’ I chose to be with him, but he has to put me through this. Ai, my guy, you better change, my guy, you better recognise…” she remarked.
However, Zari later apologised to her husband after the social media outburst.
