Senator Karen Nyamu threw all composure out the window on Saturday, September 4, when she came face to face with Nigerian gospel superstar Sinach at the Rhema Feast 2026 conference in Nairobi.
The nominated senator shared a selfie with the gospel icon on Facebook, captioning it with pure, unfiltered admiration.

Sinach. She doesn’t know it, but her music has been the soundtrack to the seasons of my life. There has always been a Sinach song for the moment, in the shower, in tears, dancing, believing. This moment was personal,” Nyamu wrote.
In a second caption, she dropped all pretence entirely:
“Sinach. Full groupie behaviour. I was so star-struck yoh.”
Sinach travelled to Kenya to headline the Rhema Feast 2026, a non-denominational Christian conference organised by Reverend Julian Kyula of Ruach Assemblies.
The week-long gathering was held at Uhuru Park in Nairobi from August 31 to September 4, 2026, drawing thousands of worshippers across the city.
President William Ruto was among the prominent political leaders who attended. Sinach led powerful worship sessions at the event alongside other top African gospel acts, including Nigeria’s Dunsin Oyekan and South Africa’s Dr Tumi.
