Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has set social media ablaze after a rapid-fire Q&A session went viral, with one answer about his dream car leaving many Kenyans thoroughly confused.
The MP shared a string of candid details throughout the interview. He revealed that his wife is his best friend, the person he calls most and the person he texts most.
What did Babu Owino say?
When asked about relationship advice for the unmarried interviewer, he launched into an earnest breakdown of what men and women need from each other, stressing respect, submission and “words of affirmation.
On his academic background, Babu disclosed he scored 390 marks in his KCPE and a B+ in KCSE with 72 points, and holds five university degrees.
His favourite subject in school was Mathematics, while his childhood nickname, like his current one, was “Wise Man.”
He also revealed he wakes up at 5:30 a.m., goes to sleep at midnight, and begins and ends each day with prayer.
Asked about his M-Pesa balance, the MP quipped he had around 50 bob drawing laughs.
He supports Chelsea internationally and a local side.
When asked what his dream car was, Babu responded without missing a beat:
“The one that I drive.”
Pressed further on which car that was, he revealed he owns several and added:
“They are all my dream cars…I chose them, loving them.”
