Thika Queens are after more than just the Kenya Women Premier league title this season and will be looking to play in the CAF Championship if they win the KWPL title this season after missing out on it two years ago.
Team Manager Glenston Muganga says they have been on an impressive run in the league and are currently second in the league they are thinking about it and it’s one of their motivations to do better this season.
“It is something that has recently come up in our discussions especially with our good run this first leg of the season. We have always wanted to play in that regional league and only missed it due to the ban that was imposed on Kenya by FIFA but we are thinking about it,” said Muganga.
