Kenya has been picked to host the planned Elevate Africa Summit, a landmark event marking a significant moment in the evolution of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and drone technology on the African continent.

The event is scheduled to take place on June 28 to 29, 2024 in Nairobi and Konza Technopolis in Machakos.

The decision to host the Summit in Nairobi comes as a result of Kenya’s role as a frontrunner in the realm of UAS innovation.

With its drone regulations, Kenya has created a fertile ground for drone technology, making it the ideal location for the event.

The Elevate Africa Summit is a celebration of African ingenuity in the field of drone technology.

Also, it aims to showcase achievements within the Kenyan drone ecosystem and provide a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange across the continent.

Industry leaders, innovators and regulatory bodies are among those expected to attend the summit, which will seek to illustrate how leveraging the power of the global drone community can bring transformative changes, not only in Kenya but across Africa.

Attendees will also get the opportunity to engage with the brightest minds in the drone industry and discover the future of agriculture, healthcare, and surveillance through the lens of advanced UAS.
