Celestine Ndinda, best known as comedian Njugush’s ex-girlfriend, has set social media alight after posting before-and-after photos that showed a remarkable physical transformation at the end of her nutrition programme.

The content creator shared the post on Facebook on Tuesday, September 1, announcing she had officially completed her journey with a nutritionist.

Did Celestine Ndinda lose weight?

The two images she included sparked immediate conversation, with fans stunned by how noticeably her body had changed over the course of the programme.

Ndinda was candid about what the process actually looked like, noting it was far from a smooth, linear experience.

She described good weeks alongside hard ones, dealing with cravings, her menstrual cycle and the ever-present temptation of chapatis, a detail that drew laughs from her followers.

“I still eat chapatis,” she wrote. “I just understand my body and my choices differently now.”

Rather than framing the experience as a weight-loss mission with a finish line, she described a shift in mindset, one where healthy habits had gradually become part of her everyday life rather than a temporary fix.

Running and regular workouts were central to her routine throughout the journey. She also took a moment to address women who feel they cannot make the same changes, encouraging them to start small and stay consistent rather than wait for perfect conditions.

The post drew a mix of admiration, humour and encouragement. Some fans were clearly moved, while others were more playful in their responses.

Prince Joe de Maxter quipped:

“The difference is that 1 pic you were close to the camera, and in the second it was taken at a distance.”

Samuel Mahia echoed the sentiment, writing:

“The difference is the distance of the photographer.”

Not everyone was sceptical, though. Domi Mbinya offered genuine praise:

“Cele, you look good, and I’m sure you’ve encouraged someone out here in their fitness journey.”

Mercy Kageni:

“I wish I could be consistent. I have admired your weight loss journey.”

Maneno Kamadoktas:

“Just eat one meal a day and exercise thrice a week.”
