British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has reacted to the death of Liverpool forward Diogo Jota.

Jota and his brother Andre died in a car accident in the province of Zamora, Spain.

His tragic passing comes only two weeks after he got married to his long-term girlfriend, Rute Cardoso, in Porto.

Reacting, Morgan, in a post on his X account on Thursday morning, expressed sadness over Jota’s death.

“Desperately sad news coming out of Spain that Liverpool and Portugal star Diogo Jota, 28, has died, along with his brother, in a car accident in Zamora.

“He only got married 2 weeks ago. Heart-breaking.”

Jota was part of the Liverpool squad that won the Premier League title last season.
