Betty Kyallo’s youngest sister, Gloria Kyallo has said she wants children, but her sisters don’t think it’s a good idea.
Gloria is 22 and enjoying life to the fullest and is a mother to five dogs. Yesterday night, she joined Betty and Mercy for the unveiling of the location of Betty’s salon business.
Betty relocated her salon business elsewhere and friends joined her for the latest move. Speaking to Kiss FM’s Kalondu Musyimi, Gloria praised her sister Betty for being an achiever.
“She is now in a posh place and I’m so happy for her. Flair by Betty is warm, it’s inviting, and the people are very welcoming,” Gloria chimed in.
Gloria’s dogs are her life, and she calls them her children. “My kids are fine they have not started school but they are good. I have three sons and two daughters.”
Her puppies are spoilt and she spends almost 599sh daily, meat is 300, and rice sh200. “I feel like that’s just normal, that’s o.k, I have no one else to spoil, they deserve it,” Gloria defended her budget.
The 22-year-old has been advised by Betty and Mercy not to rush into having children.
“They are telling me to wait, I don’t know when, that’s the problem, but it’s okay I will wait,” she said about obeying their directive.
She however feels the right time is not now, “I feel I would love the idea of being a mum I want to nurture someone, I want to bring them up, I want the challenges, the joys but the problem is I feel like I’m not where I want to be.”
Gloria was referring to having set aside money to take care of a child. “I’m gonna wait a bit but I would definitely want a child,” she insisted.
She is currently dating a guy called Ken, who was to propose to her. “Everything is good between me and Ken and I think he is an amazing human being.”
They have dated for three years, “It has to be amazing and he doesn’t like the attention, but he is great,” she continued.
Ken told Musyimi that he has been enjoying their dating life. “I’m so proud of her, to be honest,” he said, adding that he intends to propose in November this year.
“But above all, I just appreciate the fact that she’s been there, been supportive in everything in every way, and I’m glad that I’m always turning up for her when she needs me.”
Gloria opened up about making many mistakes in 2022. She admitted it was mistakes made with men, that she chose to interact with, “It’s okay I’m young but I have made mistakes and I learn from them, plus I started drinking.”
Gloria remains positive about 2023 and is looking forward to completing school among other goals she has set for herself.
