Karangu Muraya is pushing back hard against what he describes as unfair attacks on his character as a father, taking to Facebook on Monday, 20 September, to address accusations that he had skipped out on his children’s school fees.
In a post accompanied by a photo collage showing him with his children in what appeared to be a school setting, the content creator wrote:
How did Karangu respond to being accused of failing to pay his kids fees?
“I am never going to be intimidated again. You come here claiming that I haven’t paid the school fees, then when you find out that I had paid, you say it wasn’t a favour I was doing for you. Who said it was a favour?”
He ended with a phrase in Kikuyu expressing that his children would never lack.
The post is the latest episode in a drawn-out public dispute between Karangu and his estranged first wife, Triza Njeri, also known as Triza Mamake Muraya.
Triza had previously gone public with claims that Karangu had become a deadbeat father, alleging she had been left to shoulder the cost of the children’s education on her own. She also said she was forced to transfer their son Emmanuel out of boarding school due to a lack of financial support.
Karangu denied the allegations, and M-Pesa transaction screenshots showing what were reportedly school fees payments began making the rounds online, seemingly backing his account.
Triza also accused Karangu of using the children for social media content, alleging he collected them for “Happy Sunday” photoshoots dressed in matching outfits, only to return them home without basic household supplies.

The post drew a mixed bag of responses. Carol Kim herself commented with words of encouragement, writing:
“May God increase you. May God give you more and more kids.”
Others were less supportive of airing the matter publicly. Flawrence M wrote:
