Felicity Eseke, a mother of five, has achieved remarkable recognition for her dedication as an inDrive driver over the past five years.
Her earnings have been invaluable in supporting her family and funding her children’s education.
After completing over 2,766 rides, her unwavering commitment was acknowledged by inDrive, which presented her with a brand-new Wuling XC250 2025.
Daughter highlights mother’s sacrifices
Eseke’s inspiring journey was brought to light when her daughter, Louisa, reached out to inDrive to share her mother’s story of hard work and sacrifice.
Louisa expressed her pride in her mother’s relentless efforts to provide for their family and ensure her siblings could pursue their education, as reported by The Guardian.
Driving for inDrive transcended mere employment for Eseke; it became a means to lay a foundation for her children’s future.
Despite the challenges of raising five children, she consistently dedicated long hours on the road, earning a living while prioritising her children’s schooling.
Ceremony celebrates Eseke’s achievement
The vehicle was awarded during a ceremony held at Ikeja City Mall, Lagos, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Esteemed content creator Akinyemi Oluwaseun, also known as Asherkine, along with fellow inDrive drivers and community members, gathered to celebrate Esseke’s achievement.
Timothy Oladimeji, the Country Manager of inDrive Nigeria, spoke about the company’s motivation for honouring Eseke, stating that her story underlines the resilience of drivers who tirelessly work to provide for their families.
“Eseke’s story represents determination, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to her children. She reminds us that behind every trip is a person with a dream, a family, and a reason to keep going.
“We are proud to celebrate her and recognise the incredible journey she has undertaken for her children,” Oladimeji said.
Gratitude for recognition
For Eseke, receiving the vehicle was not merely about the new car but rather an acknowledgment of her years of dedication and hard work.
She expressed her heartfelt thanks to inDrive for creating a platform that has allowed her to succeed.
“I see this gift as a significant reward for the dedication I have put into my work,” she remarked.
After years spent driving to secure a better future for her five children, Eseke can now take to the road in a new vehicle, a fitting tribute to her unwavering spirit and commitment.
