Mugiithi singer Kareh B finds herself in the spotlight once again, but this time, it’s not for her music.

The talented artist has been trending following the heartbreaking news of the loss of her 17-year-old son, Joseph Maduli, in a devastating bus accident.

The tragic incident unfolded as students were en route from school to Nairobi for the April Holidays.

Joseph Maduli was among the students traveling aboard an Easy Coach bus from Chavakali High School to Nairobi when disaster struck along the Kakamega-Kisumu highway at the Mambo Leo flyover.

Amidst the sorrow of her son’s untimely passing, Kareh B recently opened up about the profound impact of another loss in her life – that of her sister, former NTV news anchor Winnie Mukami.

Speaking in an interview with KTN’s Nailantei, Kareh B revealed how deeply she was affected by her sister’s death and emphasized the importance of taking each day at a time in the healing process.

“My sister and I were very close. She took me to college after my dad died. She meant so much to so many people,” Kareh B shared, reflecting on her cherished memories of Winnie Mukami.

She credits her sister with inspiring her musical journey, transforming her passion from a part-time endeavor into her main hustle.

However, alongside her grief, Kareh B has faced challenges, including battling cyberbullying following her sister’s passing.
